Dr. Olivia Wohlfart's research area focuses on transformation processes of educational systems and stakeholders therein. She currently works in a third-party funded project examining the digitization of teacher training, particularly modeling (digital) competences and technology acceptance in school education. Her research also focuses on the impact of political conditions and educational policies on the development of schools and teachers (especially in the context of sustainability).
Since the winter semester of 2022/2023, Dr. Wohlfart has been organizing and chairing the public research colloquium of the department. This colloquium takes place 4-5 times per semester on Tuesdays from 1 pm to 3 pm in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and virtual participation. During these sessions, internal and external research works within the field of interdisciplinary didactics of STEM subjects and sports are presented and discussed. If you are interested in participating, please feel free to send an email to Dr. Wohlfart.
